beatnik is an esoteric language that uses scrabble-scores of words as instructions.

what i'd like to have is:

• a beatnik->bytecode compiler that stores the scrabble-scores in a condensed (binary) format
  • 1 byte per word should be sufficient
  • evtl. use a header to define the word-size
  • use locales to get the scoring
• a virtual machine that is able to read/run/execute this bytecode
• some search functionality:
  • search a bytecode-sequence within another one
  • this is necessary if you want to automate the process of writing meaningful beatnik programs ("meaningful" not in beatnik, but in "real world"
