beatnik
beatnik is an esoteric language that uses scrabble-scores of words as instructions.
what i'd like to have is:
- a beatnik->bytecode compiler that stores the scrabble-scores in a condensed (binary) format
- 1 byte per word should be sufficient
- evtl. use a header to define the word-size
- use locales to get the scoring
- a virtual machine that is able to read/run/execute this bytecode
- some search functionality:
- search a bytecode-sequence within another one
- this is necessary if you want to automate the process of writing meaningful beatnik programs ("meaningful" not in beatnik, but in "real world"
